(Reuters) – An 18-year-old gunman shot 10 individuals to loss of life and wounded three others at a grocery story in Buffalo, New York, earlier than he surrendered to police in what authorities stated can be investigated as a hate crime and an act of “racially motivated violent extremism.”
Authorities stated the white suspect, who was armed with an assault-style rifle and appeared to have acted alone, got here to Buffalo from a New York county “hours away” to focus on the shop in a predominantly Black group. Eleven of the 13 individuals struck by gunfire had been Black, and two had been white, officers stated.
