Buffalo capturing kills 10 at grocery store, known as ‘racially motivated’


Ten individuals have been killed and one other three others have been shot in a “racially motivated” assault at a grocery store in predominately Black neighborhood in Buffalo, New York, authorities stated. 

Officers stated the suspected gunman, a white 18-year-old man, traveled a number of hours to Buffalo to hold out the assault, which he livestreamed on social media. Eleven of the 13 individuals who have been shot have been Black, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia stated at a information convention.

The suspect was taken into custody after the assault,Gramaglia added. 

“This was pure evil,” Erie County Sheriff John Garcia stated. “It was a straight-up racially motivated hate crime from someone exterior of our neighborhood.”

Gramaglia stated the gunman was carrying tactical gear and was armed with an assault-styled rifle. He parked exterior the Tops Pleasant Market round 2:30 p.m. ET and opened hearth within the parking zone, killing three individuals and injuring a fourth. He then went inside and continued his rampage, Gramaglia stated.
