5 Camaros stolen from GM plant; 9 males face costs


(WXYZ) — 9 males are behind bars for allegedly stealing 5 model new Chevrolet Camaros from Normal Motors’ Lansing Grand River Meeting plant.

Michigan State Police mentioned the lads led police on a high-speed chase down I-96 by Ingham, Livingston and Oakland counties Monday morning.

The pursuit began after midnight. MSP Lt. Brian Oleksyk mentioned a BOL, or be looking out, broadcast over the police scanner alerted state troopers.

MSP mentioned the trail of the pursuit included Kensington Street to Grand River Avenue by Lyon Township, Wixom, Novi and Farmington Hills.
